There has been an overwhelming increase in the number of children faced with perceived and real neurobiological-based dysfunctions resulting in an estimated 5-15% of our nation's children on medications for a variety of learning, mood and behavioral issues.

But, it should be noted, that other factors may create inattentiveness, lack of focus, impulsivity and hyperactivity which contribute to a misdiagnosis of ADD/ADHD.  We do know that allergies (food, chemical and environmental) can effect concentration, focus, and attention.

BrainTrackers™ will use objective measures to help determine if it is ADD/ADHD or not.
If certain bio-markers are indicated, we would recommend a medical evaluation by a specialist. These specialists will look at specific physiological issues such as diet, nutrition, allergy issues, toxins or other health related issues.

Research shows that medications mask the symptoms; they don't correct the issues. Prior to prescription treatment, always ask for an objective analysis of your child's neurodevelopment and brain function.

With over two decades of published research to back up our procedure, we offer tests to discriminate and classify normal subjects vs. those with ADD/ADHD with an accuracy of 90%. This quantitative physiological assessment is performed using a non-invasive technique of quantitative EEG, also known as qEEG or brain mapping.

This is an objective FDA-approved assessment tool which uses digital technology to measure brain wave patterns recorded at the surface of the scalp. Clients simply sit in a chair while data is collected via a sensor-lined cap which fits over the scalp.

Decades of published research has consistently shown a specific pattern in the ADD/ADHD brain wave activity. Recognized by the American Psychological Association and other professional bodies, qEEG data captures brain wave information which shows the current level of functioning of an individual's brain.  Our databases can confirm or disprove with 90% accuracy the diagnosis of ADD/ADHD. Even if the results to not indicate ADD/ADHD, it will indicate what else might be creating the issues.

QEEG has an accuracy rate equal to or superior to routinely used clinical tests such as mammograms, blood tests, MRI and CT scans.

The BrainTrackers™ Procedure in Six Easy Steps.

1: We map the brain in order to "see" what's going on within it. This then allows an objective, highly accurate (90%), non-invasive measure.

2: An additional assessment includes an objective measurement for auditory processing. We measure the auditory cortex's ability to receive and percieve sound and frequencies accurately.

3: A neurodevelopment profile looks at overall brain development and maturation. This includes measuring memory issues. Memory issues often result in the appearance of inattention or lack of focus or the inability to remember a sequence of steps or directions. This may be mistaken for the individual not paying attention or listening.

4: A cognitive abilities assessment measures where the child currently falls on multiple spectrums and compares their chronological age against their developmental age.

5: If certain bio-markers are indicated, we may recommend a medical evaluation by a specialist who will look at specific physiological issues such as diet, nutrition, allergy issues, toxins or other health related issues.

6: A program based on the results of these individualized assessments will be recommended in order to overcome learning disabilities.

Individualized programs focus on learning, IQ development, and social maturity skills,  dyslexia, reading comprehension, math and other learning challenges.

4. Learning -- 24.0 PTS.
5. Recall -- 37.8 PTS.
6. Memory -- 29.0 PTS.
